How to do your international rugby weekend in style!

As you will already know if you’re a rugby fan, in the 2025 Guinness Six Nations Championship Scotland host Ireland on the Sunday 9th February and Wales on the Saturday 8th of March.

Naturally, when Celtic and Gaelic cousins meet, there is great craic and there may be a few beers sunk (other drinks are available).  A trip to Murrayfield is always one of the highlights of the year, so this time why not do it in style?

The Old Millhouse is situated in three acres of tranquil gardens, hidden away in the middle of Dalkeith, about 10 miles from Edinburgh.  It’s an award-winning, historic country house, offering up to 10 guests the highest quality (think Barry John, Gareth Edwards, Mike Gibson, Brian O’Driscoll) of self-catering accommodation (we can also provide a chef to cater for your every need). And with five luxurious bedrooms (with the best mattresses in the world!) and an outdoor spa we can guarantee you’ll have the rugby trip of a lifetime.

And the Good News!

We have a special offer for rugby fans.  The price below is for a minimum three-day stay, allowing you plenty of time to settle in, relax, explore (have a few beers…) and get your bearings.  Our Concierge service will organise everything, including transport to the game. Basically, whatever you would like when you are in Scotland can be delivered, although we can’t guarantee you will win the match!

Price for this special package is only £570 per person for a three night stay, so long as there is a minimum of eight people in the group.  If you have a group with fewer than eight people, please contact us for a price or call 07824 773 060.
