Christmas and New Year are always such a busy time of year. Start planning for a relaxing weekend getaway in the first few months of the year. The Old Millhouse is perfect for special family occasions, reunions and friendly get togethers. With comfort and luxury at the forefront of our guest’s experience, every modern convenience is present, as well as extensive gardens to roam.
Book a 3 day stay between January and March 2025 (Mon – Thurs or Fri-Sun) and you’ll receive one day complimentary. Maximum guest numbers is 10.
On top of that, the package includes:
- Continental breakfast (placed in the larder or fridge) for up to 10 on the first morning

- Delivery of fresh eggs every morning, from our chickens
- Chopped firewood for the open fire

You can always take advantage of our concierge service, which is free to use. Let your busy outside world gently recede under our warm, affectionate and discretionary care. Our concierge booking service is FREE for you to use, additional costs will apply dependant upon your choice.
- Organising airport collection and transfers in our partners luxury vehicles
- Food Shopping, sourcing the best local fresh and organic produce – managing any dietaries or preferences.
- Booking Jesse our private chef – who you will work directly with to design a locally sourced, seasonal menu – and if you choose, Our Taste of Scotland Menu can be sampled.
- Sending you in advance – a wine list for you to choose – selecting from one of Scotland’s premier suppliers.
- Recommendations and booking of great places to eat, drink and visit, whether it is lunch or dinner.
- Planning your visits, whether your interests, are history, art, heritage, distillery visits, your own genealogy, or simply viewing Scotland’s magnificent scenery, we will book the transport in our partners luxury vehicles and take care of all the fine detail en route
- Organising golf trips to the most sought after courses
- Arranging fishing trips, trout and salmon
- Our Whisky expert can come to Old Millhouse and give a tutorial on Scotland’s national drink.
- Booking entertainment – if you would like to hear some traditional Scottish music, we have the musicians ready and waiting.
