New Year – see it in – in style!
It’s fair to say that no-one celebrates the New Year like the Scots. Hogmanay (as we call it), has traditionally been our BIG party. Did you know Christmas wasn’t even a public holiday in Scotland for most of the 20th century? – instead we gave it laldy [another Scottish expression meaning to whoop it up] at the turn of the year.
Edinburgh is world-famous for its Hogmanay Street Party, and similar events can be found all over Scotland. This year, why not do something different, and trade-up to a unique, once-in-a-lifetime, seven-day party at the Old Millhouse. Nothing too rowdy mind, but a chance to escape from what’s been an eventful year in the most luxurious, award-winning, self-catering accommodation this side of Mars. And if you want us to provide all the food, then of course that’s on offer too.

This is on a self-catering basis, but we’ll also throw in a Continental Breakfast Hamper and Two-Course Supper for your first night, prepared and waiting for you in the fridge. Or if you really want to go for it, we can also provide a chef (at an additional charge) who will create the most amazing meals from the bountiful larder that is Scotland.
