Hello again!

It’s me, the Old Millhouse, fresh from my last blog-thingy about the wonderful autumnal misty fruitfulness, or whatever it was the poet Keats wrote.  Since then, we had a (rare) break of a couple of days where we didn’t have any guests, so boss Sally and I have been tidying up and making sure I look my best for the next visitors, who will be here by the time you are reading this.

A n y w a y…. while we had a bit of time to ourselves, Sally had the radio on and do you know what? Almost every few minutes we seemed to hear an advert for next year’s summer holidays.  Whether it was Tooee or Easyjetofftothesun, the message was the same: it’s time to start planning for next year’s holidays.     And this got Sally and me thinking: why, when the world is such a mess just now, don’t you treat yourself to some TLC next year and spend some time with me in our country?!   If you’re planning a break next year, then I think you’d love it here with me (and Sally).

After all, what more could you want?  I’ve got five fabulously comfortable double bedrooms (dare I say it – yes I do! – a LOT more luxurious than your average Costa hotel), a marvellous spa and BBQ area in my huge gardens (not to mention that the garden boundary is the river South Esk – whoops, I just did), a HUGE kitchen for you to prepare meals (or I’ll get the chef in for you if you’d prefer) and a location that combines comfort and quietude in equal proportions.

And if you want to cook paella or patatas bravas and have a cheeky wee Rioja to wash it all down at the side of the heated spa pool, then fill your boots and bring the Costa del Sol to the Costa del South Esk!
